VIEW UNIFORM PATROL DISTRICTS 1 and 2
Deputy Chief Webb Kirkdoffer, a native of Memphis, brings 29 years of law enforcement experience with the Memphis Police Department. He began his career on June 12, 1995, as a Basic Recruit in Training Class 72. Upon graduation, he was assigned to the Uniform Patrol Division, serving at North, South, and Central Precincts.
He was promoted to Sergeant in March 2010 and worked in the Robbery Bureau, the Organized Crime Unit, and the Safe Streets Task Force, collaborating with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
Upon promotion to Lieutenant in July 2016, he served in the Felony Response Bureau, Economic Crimes Bureau, and the Homicide Unit.
In January 2021, he was promoted to Major; he served in Felony Response, then moved to command the Homicide and Violent Crimes Unit and served as the Operations Commander of the Multi-Agency Gang Unit. As a Homicide commander, he helped secure a grant that started the Victim Services Unit.
In July 2023, he was appointed Colonel and was named the commander of Mt. Moriah Station.
In January 2025, he was named the Deputy Chief of Uniform Patrol Divisions 1 and 2.
Deputy Chief Kirkdoffer graduated from Raleigh-Egypt High School and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Bethel University. He is a graduate of the Memphis Police Leadership Academy and was the president of his cohort. He was the first to attend the University of Chicago Crime Lab Police Leadership Academy from the Memphis Police Department. He graduated in November 2024.
