The Appling Farms Station is one of Memphis' newest precincts and is located in the area known
as Cordova. It opened in August of 2000 and is considered the modern prototype for all
future police facilities. With large computer-aided conference/meeting rooms, spacious
roll call areas, state-of-the-art workout room, and the first modern design in over 20
years for a police building, the Northeast Precinct has become a jewel for the Memphis
Police Department. In honor of the "past meets the present" aspect of the
precinct the halls feature large black and white framed photos of officers of the past.
Designed for active citizen participation the precinct features open meeting rooms
available to all citizens for types of community
activities. The Appling Farms Station covers approximately 44.58 square
miles.
