ASSISTANT CHIEF OF POLICE SERVICES
DON CROWE
Don Crowe has been a Memphis Police Officer for over thirty years and is currently the Assistant Chief of Police Services. Don started his career in Uniform Patrol and served as a Field Training Officer and a Crisis Intervention Officer. Don served as a sergeant detective in the Arson Bureau, the Domestic Violence Bureau, and the midnight shift Felony Response Bureau.
As a lieutenant, Don has supervised the Crime Scene Investigations Unit and the midnight shift Felony Response Bureau. Upon promotion, Don was the commander of all investigation bureaus including the Homicide Bureau. Don was appointed Deputy Chief of Information Services in 2017.
On June 7, 2021, Don Crowe was appointed to Assistant Chief of Police Services (formerly titled Deputy Director of Police Services) by Police Chief Cerelyn “CJ” Davis.
